The late Deacon Robert Felder and Overseer Josie Smith organized every willing worker to unite themselves and raise funds for the building of the church. During the time funds were being raised, Deacon Felder held services in his home. Despite Deacon Felder's medical problems, he did not give up his mission.

One year after the church was established, sadly, we had the misfortune of Deacon Robert Felder's death. However, four years later, under the sound leadership of our Pastor, Overseer Josie Smith, and the assistant pastor at the time, Pastor Yvonne Timmons, were able to pull together once again, in the name of Jesus, and purchase a larger building. Ever since we have been working to recruit more Christian souls.
